Wind load & exposure

Louisiana sits in a high-wind region, and your building must be engineered for the wind speed and exposure category at your specific site. Exposure B (suburban, wooded) and Exposure C (open, rural) change the loads significantly — getting this right is the difference between a building that passes review and one that does not.

Eave height

Eave height drives usable interior space, the size of doors you can fit, and equipment clearance. It also affects cost. We help you choose a height that fits how you will actually use the building — not just today, but down the road.

Roof pitch & overhang

Pitch affects drainage, appearance, and snow and wind behavior. Overhangs add shade and weather protection but also cost. We balance these against your budget and climate.

Openings & accessories

Roll-up doors, walk doors, windows, lean-tos, insulation, and gutters all need to be planned into the structure from the start. Adding them later is harder and more expensive.
