Panel Profile

PBR Panel

A high-performance exposed-fastener panel with a taller rib and purlin-bearing leg for commercial, industrial, and large structures.

The PBR Panel is a high-performance exposed-fastener panel designed for commercial, industrial, agricultural, and metal building applications. Featuring a taller rib profile and purlin-bearing leg, PBR panels provide increased strength, improved spanning capabilities, and enhanced weather resistance compared to traditional AG panels. Designed for demanding environments and larger structures, PBR Panels offer excellent structural performance while maintaining the installation simplicity and affordability of an exposed-fastener system.

Fastening method

Exposed Fastener System. PBR Panels are installed using color-matched metal-to-wood or metal-to-metal fasteners driven through the panel into the supporting structure. The panel's purlin-bearing leg provides additional support at sidelaps and helps improve panel alignment during installation.

  • Increased structural strength
  • Improved wind uplift performance
  • Excellent spanning capability
  • Durable commercial-grade performance
  • Cost-effective installation
  • Easy maintenance and repairs

AG Panel vs. PBR Panel

Choose AG Panel when…

  • Cost is the primary consideration
  • The building has shorter spans
  • Agricultural or residential applications are planned
  • Standard wind requirements apply

Choose PBR Panel when…

  • Greater structural performance is needed
  • Wind loads are higher
  • Buildings have larger spans
  • Commercial or industrial applications are planned
  • Long-term durability is a priority
